The "Great American Eclipse" will occur during the daytime on August 21, 2017.
Here is why you should not miss this "once in a lifetime" opportunity !!
This eclipse will be the most spectacular natural event ever recorded, and will be the largest spectator event in world history, with about a half billion people witnessing at least a partial eclipse from southern Canada to northern Mexico, and covering the entire United States. It is estimated that more than 30 million people will migrate to the center line to view the Eclipse, easily making it the most viewed "live" event in world history.
Although the eclipse will only last a couple of hours with total darkness for a few minutes, it will be an event that will be remembered for the rest of your life. "Eclipse chasers" will be traveling from around the world to be on the center line.
Experts who have viewed previous eclipse events say it is a dramatic experience, and also a very social experience that is shared with friends and others you meet while attending events associated with an eclipse. Because this eclipse occurs on a Monday, the weekend leading up will be filled with all kinds of social gatherings and promotions, and events.
It will be beneficial to make plans as far in advance as possible to be in a prime location for the eclipse, but no matter what it takes, make sure you find your wat to "the center line" on August 21, 2017.
